Mission

LASER main purpose is to promote cutting-edge research activities and the circulation of scientific knowledge in Economics.

Other goals are:

• leveraging an aggregation process based on similar education objectives, a common vision and territorial contiguity, in order to create a strong and international doctoral school with a critical mass both of professors and PhD students to attract the best applicants from all over the world as well as to compete with international institutions;
• becoming the foundation for attracting other universities in Lombardy and neighboring regions as well as involving private companies, research centers and public institutions, either operating in Lombardy or otherwise invested in its economic, social and cultural development.
